Women for Election Training

Women support their communities in so many ways. From running school P&Cs and local sports competitions, to establishing businesses and community campaigns and co-ordinating drought and bushfire relief for neighbours. These leadership skills are highly transferable to elected public office.

The Women for Election Australia’s (WFEA) online “EQUIP Program” is a highly practical non-partisan program that provides women with the key knowledge of how to campaign at all levels of government. Whether you are running for office, managing a campaign or wanting to understand more about the political process, this program comes highly recommended.

The program is co-facilitated by Ruth McGowan OAM, and Licia Heath, CEO of WFEA.

The details of the program are as follows: Dates: Tuesday 16 November & Tuesday 23 November, 2021
Times: 6.00pm - 8.30pm AEDT
Venue: Online via zoom
Cost: $240

Places are limited to 20 participants ,and if the cost is a barrier to participation, WFEA have scholarships available.
