Have you heard about the proposed Wallaroo Solar Farm? It will be located at 246-248 Southwell Road in Wallaroo NSW, and comprise 260,000 Solar Panels and battery energy storage.

Approximately 100MW (AC) of renewable energy would be generated from the Farm and supplied directly to the national electricity grid. It’s anticipated that the Wallaroo Solar Farm would be capable of providing enough clean, renewable energy for approximately 48,000 NSW and ACT homes.

The developer, Wallaroo Solar Farm Pty Ltd, is a partnership of Canberra-based New Energy Development and Spanish-Japanese Univergy Solar.

The developer has invited the community to come along to one of two community information days to learn about the Wallaroo Solar Farm project. You will hear about planning approvals and anticipated construction timing and have the opportunity to put your questions to the team.
