Update on the Murrumbateman Winery Trail

The Murrumbateman Winery Trail is a 14km loop that will pass eight wineries around the Murrumbateman village. The loop will be a shared walking and cycling path made up of asphalt and concrete.

Last week the Yass Valley Council announced that it has completed asphalt work on part of Murrumbateman Road and the earthworks for the concrete sections on Hercules Street and McIntosh Circuit have now commenced. This will be completed over the coming weeks. To help me get a feel for the issues affecting people in the Yass Valley The path will be using current existing paths as well as creating new paths or extensions off the road where the path may not be able to fit on the road reserve due to difficult topography.
