Four new local road upgrade projects will get underway in the Goulburn electorate thanks to the NSW Governments’ $500 million Fixing Local Roads program.

Member for Goulburn, Wendy Tuckerman, said the following councils will receive funding to enable them to accelerate repairs and maintenance work to bring local roads up to scratch:

  • Yass Valley Council Back Creek Road, Gundaroo - Sealing / Resealing $2,979,110
  • Goulburn Mulwaree Council Windellama Road – Rehabilitation $3,000,000
  • Upper Lachlan Shire Council Breadalbane Road - Sealing / Resealing $1,005,712
  • Wingecarribee Shire Council Sallys Corner Road - Rehabilitation / Maintenance $1,412,165

Nationals Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Sam Farraway said Fixing Local Roads was a game changer for regional communities.

“Regional NSW has been doing it tough and we know how much better roads mean to people living in the regions, so I’m especially pleased to announce this injection of much needed funds,” Mr Farraway said.
