Mahalia Barnes and the Soul Mates Live at Tallagandra Hill

share

Mahalia has been in and around music her entire life. Throughout her childhood years she was exposed to everything from Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett to Ike & Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder, all of which helped shape her into the powerhouse soul and blues vocalist that has jaws dropping every time she picks up a mic.

Don’t expect a quiet, polite, restrained gig, or a gimmicky soul show with costumes & scripted banter. This band covers the full range of the soul music spectrum, the show is dynamic, organic, raw and exciting.

This event will be held indoors and a range of Tallagandra Hill wines, plus local beers will be available. Food will also be available to purchase on the day. Please note you cannot bring your own food and beverage into the venue.

This show is part of Tallagandra Hill’s “We Love Local Festival”, supporting local Australian artists and producers.

Bookings are invited for groups of 6 or more and car-pooling is encouraged.

The event will be held under COVID safe conditions.
