The Harden-Murrumburrah Landscape Painting Prize is the brainchild of the board of the Harden-Murrumburrah Bendigo Community Bank. The idea was born shortly before the advent of COVID-19 struck, which slowed planning and progress. However, towards the end of 2021, the idea was resurrected and 2022 marks the inaugural Landscape Painting Prize with $10,000 on offer to the winning artist.

The competition is intended to promote Harden-Murrumburrah to the arts community of Australia and to encourage visitors to view the exhibition of work by the finalists.

There are 24 finalists, and their beautiful and thought-provoking work can be seen at the exhibition.

When: 10am-4pm, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2022
Where: Harden Murrumburrah Courthouse, corner of Albury and Vernon Streets, Harden-Murrumburrah
