Get Onboard with The Community Building Partnership Program

Communities across the state are in line for better facilities and infrastructure with the popular Community Building Partnership Program getting an additional $18.6 million injection over two years in the 2021-22 NSW Budget.

Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman welcomed the NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet’s announcement that funding for the program would increase from $300,000 to $400,000 per year for each electorate for the next two years, representing a total of $37.2 million each year.

“All types of community organisations will be eligible for these grants,” Mrs Tuckerman said.

“Projects could include new playgrounds, upgrades to sporting facilities and change rooms, lights for night training, disabled access to a community building, equipment for a Men’s Shed or a new school or community bus. This is a great win for the electorate of Goulburn, and I encourage all eligible groups to apply,” Mrs Tuckerman said.

Incorporated not-for-profit community organisations and local councils are eligible to apply for the grants, with the average grant awarded about $20,000.
