On Friday 13th January the third round of the Regional Job Creation Fund opened, and Member for Goulburn, Wendy Tuckerman, has invited local businesses to apply.

“Our local businesses contribute a significant amount to our economy and the Regional Job Creation Fund continues to support regional industry by co-funding projects that drive investment, create jobs and boost economic growth.

“Already in the Goulburn electorate we have seen a number of businesses share in previous rounds across a diverse range of industries – I encourage businesses to have a look at this funding opportunity and to make sure they are applying,” Mrs Tuckerman said.

Beneficiaries of previous funding rounds include:

  • $500,000 to Poachers Pantry (Yass Valley)
  • $820,000 to Hidrive Group Pty Ltd (Goulburn)
  • $300,000 to Grubbins Pulbrook Frame & Truss (Moss Vale)
  • $100,000 to NSWGR Holdings (Goulburn)
  • $100,000 to A&I Coatings (Moss Vale)
  • $300,000 for Ordior (Moss Vale)
  • $120,000 to Sweet Pea and Poppy (Nanima).

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said previous rounds of the Regional Job Creation Fund provided $140 million to close to 200 regional projects, enabling more than $360 million of private investment into regional NSW and creating 6,500 new jobs in key industries.

Expressions of Interest for Round Three of the Regional Job Creation Fund close 5pm Monday, 6th March 2023. Successful EOI applicants will be invited to submit detailed applications from May 2023.
