As part of this year’s MoU between NSW Wine and the NSW Government, including resultant funding, NSW Wine has partnered with marketing agency DISTIL to launch a 12-month social media campaign that aims to build awareness of NSW wines.

This new campaign will focus on Facebook and Instagram, with a move away from member/winery communications and towards speaking directly with consumers.

The team at DISTIL say, “Our purpose is to use the NSW Wine social media accounts to:

  1. Educate audiences about NSW wine regions and wines
  2. Inspire our audiences to visit the regions and purchase NSW wines
  3. Create brand awareness of NSW wines and build brand loyalty.

“In order to build awareness across all NSW wines, regions and varietals, we’re going to need support from wineries across NSW.”
